The Power Of Sports Massage
The Power Of Sports Massage Let’s be honest; we all tend to push our bodies to the limit. Whether it’s swimming, cycling, running, or endurance training, the physical demands we…
I have spent the last ten years building Glitter Pixies from the ground up, and a few things that I have learned along the way have helped me get to where I am today.
1) Throughout the ten years, Keeping my standards high has allowed my clients to experience spa-quality treatments at affordable prices.
2) My top priority has always been about how best I can help my clients on their healing journey.
3) Keeping up to date with the latest trends in the community helps us stay relevant.
4) Clients are loyal once you find the right treatment plan and option for them. The trick I find is to always be honest with your clients, and when you cannot help, refer them to someone who can.
5) Promising clients results that you cannot deliver on is not a smart idea. Know your limits, but also understand that working with the body is complex. Creating a network of professionals to bounce ideas off of will benefit your client the most.
6) Understanding my limits at first was hard. I did not have a perfect work/life balance because I would choose work over family life. This helped me grow my business and clientele. I am not afraid of hard work, but burning the candle at both ends is not the holistic way of treating myself. I had to learn the balance so that I could be the best therapist possible for my clients.
7) The short courses that I have attended throughout the years have helped me stay up to date with the latest treatment options and ideas within the industry. This has given me a better knowledge of how to help my clients further their healing journey.
8) Glitter Pixies has always been about balancing the medical and holistic sides of the industry. It has allowed me to provide my clients with various treatment options that align with their beliefs within the industry. If you want me to help your muscle spasms, I can, but I can also help you understand why the muscles constantly spasm from a holistic point of view.
